Eat: Vanilla Almond Tart

We had an early mother's day for Irwin's grandmother, and since it was beautiful and warm outside, I decided against cupcakes and made a Vanilla Almond Mixed Fruit Tart. I made it just before going to church, stuck it in the freezer to speed up the firming process of the filling, and topped it off with the fruit and sliced almonds. It was an instant hit.
