Happy Thanksgiving!

I have so many things to be grateful for, but here are the first few that come to mind:

1. My parents - Thank you for being you. No matter how over-protective you get sometimes, I know it just means that you love me. I wish I got to spend Thanksgiving with you.

2. My brother - You're crazy, but I know you will always be there for me.

3. Irwin - You are the love of my life. Thank you for putting up with the things that you do, and for always being there when I fall down. You will always be my best friend.

4. Having a job! No matter how stressful it gets at times, I'm very grateful to be employed, and with a GREAT company at that. Where else can you find a company that is always taking you out/buying you food just to show that they appreciate you?

5. My besties: Uri, Janelle, Ai - How could I have survived college (and the aftermath of college) without you?? You're my sisters, and even though we don't see each other often, I know that I can always count on you to be around when I need you.

6. Irwin's parents - Thank you for being my second family, for taking care of me, and feeding me (a lot) and for embracing me as part of your family. I will never forget your generosity and love.

We had a nice, somewhat low key dinner tonight. But still good food, good conversations, and good pictures! The backyard was lovely with the changing tree colors. Had to take advantage and had a mini photoshoot.

Irwin's Snowy Birthday

Went to Portland last weekend for Irwin's birthday and visited with his bro and his family, my favorite little boys.

The Barber's Daughters

I'm completely infatuated with The Barber's Daughters. It's the new line of jewelry designed by Gisèle Theriault and Ms. Alicia Keys. I love the inscriptions and just how unique each piece is. They are wonderful and awe inspiring. Definitely putting the watch and the ring on my Christmas List.

Inscription Reads: "May you find inspiration and meaning soaked in the wonders of the imagination. Cradled in compassion of the heart, and hold a will to make a difference."

Inscription Reads: "Imagine if every time you looked at your wrist you were reminded to weave space into your tapestry of time and live from the heart, Imagine." -Gisele

Inscription Reads: "Blaze on with a fearless heart" -Alan Clements

DARN

Why didn't I think to bring my shredded tee on my trip to Hawaii? I love this picture, reminded me of one of the sunsets I saw when we were out there...

FREAKATHON

Had an unexpectedly fun time last night. Especially considering the fact that we almost didn't go out because 1) I was lazy 2) I was too lazy to put my costume together 3) we didn't know where we were going to go. But we ended up at Terra SF which is this awesome venue near the entrance of the Bay Bridge. There were acrobats and twirlers and girls who can twist their bodies as if they have no spinal cord. Drinks were fairly cheap and it was good music and good fun!

I was stressing about my costume a few hours before we left, but it turned out a lot better than I thought it would. And Irwin's hair was stressing us both out but eventually I stuck it out and made some cool designs in his hair. I gave our costumes 2 thumbs up ^_~ OH, and in case you were wondering, we were Taylor Swift and Kanye West :-)
